A New Name!

It's kind of funny, actually. One day I wanted to go to my writer's network blog and clicked on CCW on my toolbar. It took me to a different writer's network site - Carolina Christian Writers. That's when I realized if I can get confused, everyone else will probably get confused, too. I wasn't sure what to do about it, though. I shrugged and thought, "Oh, well." Driving home from an appointment one day I read "Palmetto" on numerous businesses. That's when it struck me. I can still be unique to the region and solve the confusion issue all in one.

When I met with my growing writer's group this morning (Yes! There are now six of us!), I ran the idea by them and they loved it! One member even said it could serve to form other groups in different cities around the state. While my feeble mind had only gone so far as growing within our own metro area, it awed me that someone else envisioned the possibility of us growing even beyond our local group. You can imagine how excited that made me - to know that the others in this group are as excited as I am. God is so good to send me such enthusiastic writers. It let's me know that this is not only meeting my own need, but that of other Christian writers in the area, as well.
