Writers as Small Business Owners
How many of you consider yourselves small business owners? If not, why don’t you?
Writing is a vital business. Unless you’re a full-time journalist or someone with a dozen books and contracts for more, people tend to look down their noses and not take your career seriously. I mean, it’s not really a business unless you’re making a steady or substantial income, right?
Wrong. In a way we’re like starving artists. Yet, even artists are recognized as business men and women.
So, what can you do as a writer to establish yourself as a business?
We'd love to have you join us. For more information, e-mail Linnette at PCWN(at)live(dot)com.
